Everyone of those items serves an essential purpose, especially the label maker. Label everything in your apartment as if it were something else, than watch as people get confused!

Or you could name things in your apartment and refer to these items by name. When people get confused just yell at them for not understanding your system.

In Iowa the snow is melting all at once, which means the fog is so thick that the visibility is hardly more than 10 feet. It is the most distressing thing.

Also I keep expecting things to emerge from the fog, which is terrifying.

Apparently the Academy refuses to own up to the gaffe. They also left off Bea Arthur and Ed McMahon.

“I would not say that it was an oversight,” Leslie Unger, spokeswoman for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, tells E! News. “No matter how carefully and how conscientiously people address who is included, there are people who just simply can’t be.”
“Every year there are many difficult decisions that have to be made and not everybody who passed during the year can be included,” says Unger. “That’s the unfortunate reality.”

This might be more palatable if they hadn’t included the PR guy no one’s ever heard of. Why don’t they just admit they messed up and apologize? Would that really kill them?
